NEXT BOARD MEETING The next Board Meeting will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2001, at 6:30 p.m. at The Carmel Mountain Rec Center SS on Sabre Springs Parkway. Members are invited to attend and partake during the open session. LANDSCAPE UPGRADES At the recent meeting, the Board approved projects that include upgrades along the perimeter wall of Stony Brook I & II. The changes will include removal of the Jasmine and Arelia, regrouping of the Agapanthus to increase the impact appearance. Planting of Bougainvillea, Charise Trumpet Vines, Photenia Frazer and more Agapanthus. The ground cover will be removed and grass installed for lower maintenance. The Board also approved a tree replacement program along the slopes. in front of the Montecito homes. Trees that were recently removed will be replaced with Canary Island Pines, Ash and Tipu trees. The new trees will be planted lower on the slope so that they do not cause undue debris in back yards etc. We are looking forward to these changes. PAINTING OF MONUMENTS Monuments located at the corner of Sabre Springs Parkway and Poway Rd. will be cleaned and painted. Monuments located at the corner of Springhurst and Poway Rd. will be sanded, repaired, cleaned and painted. We are sure once they are completed, that it will enhance the appearance of the entrance areas. WEB SITE INFORMATION Many of the Sabre Springs owners are using the web site to obtain important information such as paint colors, maintenance ideas, dates and times of the meetings and to read the minutes of the regular board meetings. We hope that you will take the time to look at the site if you have not already done so, and submit suggestions/ideas for other information that could be posted. |
