QUESTIONNAIRES
RETURNED
It
seems that your neighbors are concerned about the same things that you are concerned
about. Although the tabulation of the questionnaires has not been completed,
the hand written notes have been reviewed. It appears that the overwhelming concerns
of the membership are the appearance of the property, both individual and common
area, dogs being allowed to roam without a responsible adult and the number of
cars, boats, trailers, R.V.s and trucks being parked for extended periods of
time on driveways and streets.
PLEASE
REVIEW CONDITION
OF YOUR LAWN
& TREES
Recent
inspections of the community has revealed a number of trees with limbs which are
overhanging sidewalks. Please inspect your property to insure that trees belonging
to you are not causing a hazardous condition.
CHICARITA
CREEK WALKING
TRAIL
Mike
Farrior of Pacific Properties alerted us to a Poison oak (r. diversiloba) infestation
identified along the Chicarita Creek Walking Trail. In California the plant grows
as a dense leafy shrub and may be identified by its leaves which are divided into
three leaflets, edges of which are scalloped, toothed or lobed. The foliage turns
bright orange or scarlet in the fall - beautiful but to be avoided. It's hardest
to identify bare branches in winter and early spring; even brushing against these
can cause a rash.
